“The Woodworker’s Pocket Book” was supposed to leave the printer’s dock today. But because of the snow and ice that paralyzed much of the middle of the United States, the book has been delayed.
Our Tennessee printing plant was shut down for three days and is still trying to get back on its feet. As a result, plant officials estimate the book will ship to our warehouse next Monday. (Barring, of course, a meteor or a space squid invasion.)
We apologize for the delay and will let you know when the book will ship as soon as it arrives at our warehouse.

I’m thinking a squid invasion is more likely than what Texas just experienced.
Remember the Murder Hornets? Maybe the ice killed them.
Hey, silver linings.
After 2020, I fully expect the space squid invasion. I only hope they respect books and tools.
If they scoop up the Hayward book, we’ll know they’re not only book lovers but tool users. An advanced species with eight arms—finally, someone who can use a Stanley 55!
The storm that keeps on giving.
Really appreciate you keeping us updated on this, and glad the Oklahoma earthquakes aren’t slowing things down
Quite Understandable. Thanks for the delivery update. Not a problem for me.

There must be so much knowledge in this book the space squids our causing the bad weather to keep this book from coming out!
Life happens…great comms like this differentiate average vs. superior busines!

Maybe the Space Squid Invasion would bring us all together…wait a minute. I see what you did there 😉
My hope is that Space Squid have big brains that will keep the zombie hordes well fed so we can make our escape un hindered.
Remember, the robot uprising will be led by the ATMs.
I will happily (but anxiously) wait! And really, seriously appreciate the chance to pre-order. I also understand why you’re dropping it. But you’ll never lose me as a customer.
I don’t care how long, I’m just glad I’ll get one. Thank you!
I heard the Martians are sending a strike force in retaliation for our invasion last Thursday.
good thing I don’t need it to finish the Irish chair I am working on.
The ‘space squid invasion’ is MY go-to excuse at work.
Can’t you find your own?
No problem. The wiser of us have delay back-ups like The Anarchist’s Tool Bench or The Solution At Hand or Charles Hayworth or…
