“Kitchen Think,” the new book by Nancy Hiller, will ship from the printing plant this week (likely tomorrow). It will arrive in our Indiana warehouse a couple days after that, then the warehouse crew will fill pre-publication orders.
This is your last chance to get a free pdf of the book at checkout. If you order before midnight on Wednesday, you’ll get the book and the pdf for $38 plus shipping. After Wednesday, the book plus the pdf will cost $45.
“Kitchen Think” is a huge (368 pages), beautiful and thought-provoking book about kitchens. It’s filled with both practical woodworking instruction and hard-won advice on design and layout. Like all Lost Art Press books, “Kitchen Think” is produced entirely in the United States on quality coated paper with a durable and sewn hardback binding.

I wish some of the EU shops offered this. When do you think it’ll be available here?
I know that Classic Hand Tools is taking pre-orders. I don’t know if our other European distributors will be carrying it.
Great! Looking forward to it.
Nancy’s a wonderful writer. Good luck on the book! Thanks Chris
A treasure-trove of ideas! A must-read consultancy on craft, design, and style.
I am disappointed. Following Nancy on Instagram I assumed that this would be a book on her cat. After Lil Bub died I have not had a cat to follow and hers has filled a void in my heart. For real I was up late last night reading this book. I have never really cared for the way my cabinets look after I am finished making them. I knew this book was going to help me with building cabinets that did not have a box store look. Kitchen Think is more than I hoped for. Now my wife and I can stop using a card table and dishwasher box as cabinets. Thanks again.
