In our reprint of Joseph Moxon’s “Mechanick Exercises,” we missed page 169 when scanning the original. We’ve updated the file and will correct it at the next press run. Click below to download a PDF of the page to print and insert into the first edition. Our apologies for the error.
Page 169, “Mechanick Exercises”

So what your saying is the early copies are now rare collectors items like an improperly minted coin.
I smell a windfall in my future 😉
You’re, not your. Sorry.
$$$$$$$$$
I actually noticed that, and wondered if it was missing from the original.
Seems to have been missing in the 1703 edition. Perhaps Ms Fitz can enlighten us.
Thanks for posting this page. I checked my Toolamera 1703 reprint and sure enough that page is missing. I had vaguely recalled a missing page but could not recall where it was. Much appreciated.
Fitz, Could I, should I , get this page on acid-free paper? What effect will it have on the book in general?
My copy of the Toolemera 1703 reprint has the Turning chapter pages in the following order:
167-169-168-171-170-172-173-174-175-176-177-178-179-181-180-182-183-184.
I am putting together an order but am sadly $20 short for payment. Please send the books anyway as I am emailing a scan of a $20 bill which you can print and insert into your wallet.
Mail the book back to us and we will paste in the missing page if you like.
That’s right generous that is.
I’m certainly no literary or language major, this page sure reminded me of that. But, this page DID make me even more grateful to LAP for the reprint I recently purchased. Thanks for all you do Team LAP!!!
