At 1 p.m. Eastern tomorrow (Tues., Oct. 6), Peter Galbert will carve a chair seat right in front of your very eyes on Mary May’s live-streamed Twitch TV channel. The web address is: twitch.tv/marymaywoodcarver.
You don’t have to have a Twitch account to watch, but if you want to ask questions or interact in any way, you do. Twitch is free and can be watched online, or through the free app for either iOS or android.
If you can’t make the live stream, you can watch the recorded show afterward on Mary’s Twitch channel.

p.s. Obligatory commercial mentions: Take a look at Mary May’s “Carving the Acanthus Leaf” here, and Peter Galbert’s “Chairmaker’s Notebook” here.
Thanks LAP. Ralph
Hey, there !
Thanks for the heads up Megan! Best to Bean 🙂
Thanks!
Fyi, if you have amazon prime, you have access to a free twitch prime sub which you can use each month. The sub basically gives the streamer about 5 bucks and doesn’t cost you anything (other than your amazon prime membership which you already have). A quick google search will show you how.
Thanks Megan! Now for those of us nerds that fully intend to watch it but at about 3:00pm will be asking ourselves, “What am I forgetting?” Only to realize we missed it. Do you know if she records things like this for later viewing? ( I have no idea how Twitch works.). Thanks.
It will be archived through Mary May’s website
Thanks Peter. Great presentation. (I did remember). And , like Mary, one of these days I will be taking a class with you.
