Bench.Talk.101 has just posted my “Chairmaking for Flat Woodworkers” talk on its YouTube page. Click here to watch it. I gave a 25-minute presentation (with props) and then took questions for another 30 minutes.
It was a fun format, and it was very kind of them to invite me.

Whoa. Flashback picture.
Man this is EXACTLY what I needed. I have built all types and sizes of rectangular furniture but chairs and curved things intimidate the bejeebers out of me. Thanks for this!
I tried to be a part of that but had a hard time. I didn’t have any audio or video. So I will be watching the youtube.
I watched the presentation part. I love how you demystify all things woodworking. Your down to earth, any Yahoo can do this approach continues to inspire me to be a better teacher. Thanks!
That was wild! Maybe Megan can be on too.
I had a really fun drinking game planned where I’d drink every time you touched your nipples. You really let me down.
Years of practice and electro-therapy broke me of that habit.
To bad I’m always at work when these benchtalks happen. If you had touched your nipples I would have had to put the drink down and re evaluated my habits haha. Jks aside, it was a very nice talk Chris.
Delightful presentation. I just finished making 9 stools. You have forced me to think that I may have to make a chair. Thank you for the encouragement.
