If you want to buy tickets for my March 28-29, 2020, Dutch Tool Chest demonstration in Omaha, the Omaha Woodworkers Guild has set up a web page for you.
You can buy tickets using a credit card via this link. The page explains the where, when and how of the event, and the pricing. It also explains how the raffle will work at the end of the seminar, in which you can win the Dutch chest I’m building that weekend.
Should be fun.

I’ve been building mine since last year. I suspect you’ll finish yours before mine.
Ticket purchased. Looking forward to it! And you’ll be bringing a welsh stick chair? I like the looks of them but would love to test sit one!
Apologies but the truck will be full of tools and wood. I won’t have room for a chair (small truck).
The Clampetts had room for a rocking chair on their truck. Just sayin’.
Gotcha. I remember it said you were doing an evening presentation on vernacular stick chairs and got hopeful. I agree with the above Clampets suggestion, though; just strap it on top with a sign that says “Like what you see? Visits web page!”
It’s a digital presentation. And I’ll be selling Amway, too.
Thanks for posting on your blog, Chris! This will be spectacular! Can’t wait!
Wish I could go to this, but i had a question on the dutch tool chest in the picture. I saw the regular one at an LN event last year, I believe they sell your build DVD. But I have never seen that bottom section in person. Kind of like a trailer box for the box? Is that also on the DVD?
It’s not covered in the DVD, but there’s nothing to it. It’s made using the exact same techniques.
You can see the plans and cut list here:

Can you open the bottom chest without opening the top one?
Nope. Not unless you hinge it differently
Great, thank you!
For my bottom box I made two (near the ends/sides) battens that protrude at bottom of the drop front about 3/4 inch and put a drawer lock at the top middle. Works great. The battens catch the bottom rail on the inside and the lock the top
