In an effort to reduce all the things sitting around, I’m offering this leather-bound copy of “Mouldings in Practice” for sale for $250. Domestic shipping is free. International shipping is at cost. Note: This item is sold.
The book is a first edition of Matt Bickford’s landmark book. The boards are covered in calfskin that has been hand dyed. The endsheets are handmade as well. All the work was done by the artisans at Ohio Book, who have created all of our leather-bound editions.
To buy it, send me a message through my personal website via this link.

I have read that book a couple of times and refer to it a lot. it has made me a master of moldings. Well maybe master is a little strong but I can copy any molding that comes in my shop or any molding I can draw. I would love to have that book but for me the price is a little steep.
Hi Rachel,
It is expensive. And that’s why we stopped issuing them years ago. There is an incredible amount of hand work that goes into these leather editions by the Fallon brothers at Ohio Book. So much so that $250 is probably not enough. So it was a tricky situation and why we decided to stick to the cloth binding for our books.
