I managed to get one from the first batch. I was hesitant to spend the money on a “hammer”, for it is s large sum for such a utilitarian tool. It seemed excessive, and perhaps a luxury that I really did not need. Yet, once I opened the box, and held it on my hand, I had no further reservations. This object is a thing of beauty. It is obvious a lot of thought and design considerations went into the process to build this tool. If you can spare the sum required, you will not be disappointed.
Highly recommend these hammers. I ordered from the first batch and have used it extensively on my Roubo bench that I am making. Thanks to Chris and the others at Crucible Tools!
