The 2018 class schedule is now live at The Woodwright’s School website. Roy Underhill has been diligently working on the new calendar of classes for the upcoming year and it is finally complete. Most of the regular classes are back with many new classes added as well. You can check it out here.
As most of you know, if there is a class you are interested in get signed up ASAP, they fill up quickly.

too bad the lowest price is $155.00
Yeah… It’d be great if it didn’t cost anything to open and run a brick and mortar school focusing on teaching small classes in a niche trade/craft/hobby.
The good news is we live in the information age, and the figure running this particular school has spent more years than I have been alive making information available to the public, over public access TV at no cost, and published in books and magazines at low cost.
Right now is easily the best moment in the history of humankind in terms of the democratization of knowledge and information. Count your blessings. 🙂
Well said, Chris
If you’re heading to NC for a class, $155 won’t even cover your BBQ budget…
Considering most high end professional woodworkers charge $60 an hour, $155 a day doesn’t seem that crazy to me.
Trust me, I’ve attended a class and it was worth every penny my wife paid.
