We’ve just added our Lost Art Press Bandito shirts to our online store. The shirts are $25 and are available in sizes M to 2XL. These are the shirts we printed for Woodworking in America. They were a big hit, but we came back with some in each size.
Once these lieutenant green shirts are sold out we will offer the Bandito shirt in a wide variety of sizes, color and even styles.
We’ll also be putting up the “By Hammer and Hand” posters in the store later this week – we just have to wait for the special mailing tubes to arrive in the warehouse.

Bought, thank you!
Just curious: I ordered the second edition of the workbench book a few weeks ago, when will those be shipping?
We are still waiting for our shipment of these books. They are supposed to ship to us about Oct. 10. I will post an update on the blog about this when F+W updates me.
“…wide variety of sizes, color and even styles.” Still $25.00 price?
Sorry. It’s the cheapskate in me.
Shirts are a break-even thing we do for fun. They are printed on demand and shipped by a third party. So the price is the price, I’m afraid.
Order placed. This shirt will make me look even more like a woodworking badass!
*ahem* Seriously though, this shirt looks awesome. Looking forward to receiving and wearing it.
Nice shirt.Too much.
Yep, too much. I ordered 2.
No size small huh?
Not yet. But soon.
No size 4XL huh?
What does LAP have against fat guys?
Not enough of us to break even; forget about making any money. And I need the tall, to boot! 🙂
I go for the hats instead. My shirts go from Sunday wear to the rag pile in about a two year progression. I still have my covers (hats) from the Marine Corps 20 plus years ago. Double 🙂
Nothing to do with anything, but the Lie-Nielsen and Klingspor hats are my current preferred shop wear.
Thanks for serving.
If you ever make a signed print of the Bandito I’ll be the first to order. Awesome design that would look great in my shop.
Note that these t-shirts are made in USA by American Apparel. They’re tailored and sized for a younger, slimmer generation. They’re kind of an “athletic” fit with less room in the shoulders, back, and midruff than I’m used to. Shorter sleaves as well. Also I think they’re cotton, so they’ll shrink a bit if you do your laundry on hot settings.
All of this is to say that the sizing might not be what you’d normally wear. For example, I’m an XL in most brands, and just a L in Hanes undershirts, but a 2XL in these American Apparel t’s. I’m both broad and chubby, so if you have only one of those attributes your normal size might fit OK.

Is it politically correct to use a graphic of a person with a sombrero, handlebar mustache and an itty bitty goatee that looks like Powers Booth as a zombie. Can he saw 2 straight lines at the same time with pinwheels in his eyes?
I hope it’s not.
Any posters make it back from WIA?
Yes. They are in the store now. Blog post to come!
Sweeeet.
