The Brothers Abraham have announced – finally – the second French Oak Roubo project Nov. 8-14, 2015, in Georgia. Check out the announcement here.
If you missed out on the one last year and you want an awesome French bench, don’t miss this one. Eventually all our backs will give out.
The event will be in the same place with the same assistants (me, included) and the same incredible machinery. Registration opens Sept. 2, 2014.

I will never forget the grin on Fred West’s face toward the end of the last session. My fondest memory of a great friend.

As an “OG” FORP member, I can say my bench is INCREDIBLE!! But the experience was even more memorable. Excellent host/facility, excellent leadership, excellent participants, excellent time had by all! And hind sight IS 20/20, good call on having it in November this time around. Since I know the location of where this is happening, I may have to schedule vacation, just to come down and watch it all happen again.
Those fortunate enough to be able to attend will have a monstrous mean bench at the end.
I’ve admired the benches from afar since they started appearing on the web after the last cotillion.
Something tells me this bench wouldn’t fit in my carry-on.
Is that a line of skew rabbet knobs on the windowsill?
Yes. It is a small part of my collection.
