If you like campaign furniture but you don’t follow my blog at Popular Woodworking Magazine, you should click over there and check out the post about my visit to Christopher Clarke Antiques in Stow-on-Wold, England.
Lots of photos of beautiful pieces. And some words.

Just curious, how do you decide what goes on what blog? Most of the time I can see the clear distinction, but sometimes they seem to overlap. (This blog is much easier on the eyes and faster to load, btw).

Eric,
It is fairly simple. I am obliged to post two entries a week at PW. I try not to post things there that are self-serving. However, there are some times when a post could go either place. In those cases, I post where I need to post to meet contractural obligations.

That looks like an awkwardly sized case. What’s it for? Looks like a scale model of a chest of drawers to me.
It is a miniature.
I clicked through to ask if was a salesmen sample. A wee chest with wee brasses is certainly a curiosity.
Slap the campaign mirror on top and call it a gentleman’s valet. 🙂
