Because of a shortage of raw materials, “Grandpa’s Workshop” will ship from the printer on Friday, Oct. 12. The book was supposed to be here already, and we apologize for the delay.
The printing plant did not have the boards for the book until today, according to our print manager. The boards are, in book-making lingo, the core of the covers of hardbound books.
With any luck, the book will arrive here in Fort Mitchell, Ky., on Oct. 15 and begin shipping that day.
As always, thanks for your patience.

Crap crap crappity crap. My son’s birthday is the seventeenth. Barring exceptionally diligent postal workers,(unlikely at best), it ain’t getting here by then. Someone please warp the space-time continuum.
like my son, I have the patience of a six year old.
A woodworking book held up by a lack of boards?
Quality is always worth waiting for.

I’ll second Peter – it’ll be well worth the wait, don’t stress yourselves!
I’m rather happy Dictum Germany & LAP are taking the effort to send a single copy overseas… never mind a few days waiting!
