“Mouldings in Practice” by Matthew Sheldon Bickford is now available in for your iPad, iPhone, Kindle or other electronic reader. The price is $16.

To purchase the ePub version for iPad or iPhone, click here.
This is the same as the print book: full-color illustrations, all of the photos and the complete text. But with the electronic version you will be able to search the entire book, write electronic notes in the margins, change the font size and (of course) carry it with you anywhere (even the shop) on your device.
Unlike many electronic book files, we chose to make ours without DRM – the acronym for “digital rights management.” Many eBook files with DRM are a pain to use. You might be restricted from copying the file for backup, or even simply copying and pasting passages from the book.
Because you will download the file from us and not Amazon or iTunes, you have to move it onto your device manually. This is an easy process.
Amazon offers this tutorial for the Kindle: Transfer Files to your Kindle via USB
You also can read a tutorial about how to add an ePub to you iPhone or iPad here: https://blog.lostartpress.com/2011/10/21/how-to-add-an-epub-to-your-ipad-or-iphone/
To purchase this electronic book, simply add it to your shopping cart. After you check out, you will be given the link to download it. If you are an international customer, the process is different. Send $16 U.S. to john@lostartpress.com via PayPal and we will send you the link manually.
We apologize that we are not able to offer this file with the pdf of “Furniture Mouldings.” You can, however, download a copy for free here.

I have both a kindle and an iPad, but for woodworking I just love having the real thing. Still, it’s good to see and to each his or her own preference.
Got mine this morning using the paypal option and it went very smoothly. I would never read a novel on my iPad but really enjoyed ATC and Essential Woodworker as ePubs.
Have you guys considered including an ePub copy with the purchase of the hard back? I prefer to read from real books but often I read from the iPad out of necessity.
Daniel,
That would get complicated because we would have to offer a wide variety of packages to cover every iteration. So we chose to keep it simple. Our eBooks are very reasonable in price compared to the hardback and other eBooks in general. We cannot just give them away – eBooks cost a significant amount of money to produce. And if we packaged the eBooks with every hardback, then people who didn’t want the eBook would want a discount. Hence, our a la cart approach.
Though I know that doesn’t make everyone happy, that’s our reasoning.
Chris
I have to say this is really interesting. Moulding planes on your IPad…a nice mix of 18th and 21st century technologies. It’s a bit like having a horse and buggy with a GPS, and I mean that in a good way!
If I have trouble loading this on my tablet, can you come over and show me how?
Hi Folks, I want to buy this e book but your order link will not allow me to enter a foreign country in my address so I cannot complete the form and cannot order the book.
If I cannot order this e book I cannot read it. If I cannot order this e book I cannot learn more about cutting mouldings with hand tools. If I cannot order this e book I cannot increase my hand tool making skills. If I cannot order this e book I shall be very sad. If I cannot order this e book every one around me will be sad. If I cannot order this e book I may just die a little. You get the drift…….I WANT THIS E BOOK.
Can I buy it in England? Regards, Bernard Naish
If you want the electronic copy of the book, send an e-mail to john@lostartpress.com and the transaction can be completed through PayPal.
If you want a physical copy of the book, we have several international suppliers who sell “Mouldings in Practice,” including Classic Hand Tools in the U.K. and Dictum GmbH in Germany.
Hope this helps.
Thanks for using spelling, “mouldings”. I hope you’ll eventually adopt “plough” and “rebate”.
I’m glad you brought this up. Is it ‘Moulding’ or ‘Moldings’. I always thought it was the former but some people corrected me. I’m just wondering. Thanks.
