LostArtPress on InstagramI just finished this stick chair, which I’ll be exhibiting at Fine Woodworking Live (@finewoodworkingmagazine). The chair is inspired by Scottish Darvel chairs but brought forward 100 years or so. This chair is made from scraps of multiple species and painted with General Finishes (Not) Milk Paint in Coastal Blue.We are now selling laser-cut templates for the Staked Armchair in “The Anarchist’s Design Book: Expanded Edition.” The templates are made by @firstlightworks and greatly simplify making your first chair. U.K. customers can get them from @classic_hand_tools.I still have some lumps and low spots to level, but I’m close to the bottom.
