Shut up and take my money.
me too.
Unoriginal, but Me Three!
Just wish I could go, but I’m already taking a week off for the Chris Schwarz tool chest class here in PNW, as well as a week off for our annual pilgrimage to San Diego (Comicon!).
badger
me too !
If only I lived closer, I’d really love to pick one up as well. Are there any hidden passages in the Roubo translation on defying time and space to get there and back faster?
Well that’s just not fair.
He’s gonna HAVE to make a batch of those for sale to the non-Iowa going public. They look great.
“Simplify, simplify.”
I’m one of the legions that have probably replied to voice interest in these tools. If you don’t sell them all in Iowa, I’d like to buy one. If available, let me know. If not, I understand.

Very nice, but honestly, between you and Jameel…
(for those of you that have no clue what I’m refering to, check out the benchcrafted blog at benchcrafted.blogspot.com)
Just noticed we are half-wits now.
You were one of those waaaay before you posted here, Patrick.
I assume you’ll be pushing your wares in Iowa? Need to start doing my willpower exercises again…
Well you’re half-right. I am a half-wit (my wife will validate that statement) but I’m not THAT Patrick. I believe you are referring to Mr. Leach and yes, you definately will need to have your willpower under control. He has alot of nice stuff. Cheers!
Aw, dang. Sorry.
Was making an assumption.
Regardless, maybe I’ll see you there. We can find strength in numbers to fight off his peddling ways.
Who is actually producing these calipers? I keep seeing this Handworks event but don’t see anything else about those tools. Did I miss something? Thanks.

there’s definitely more then 50 there
I’m going to stop eating solid food a month in advance.
This is cruel and unusual, insult to injury, salt in the wound, sand in the eye, etc so on and so forth.
So bummed not to make it to the event, an now I am taunted with your shiny bits of studley-sexiness!
You’re a mean one, Mr. Schwarz.
Nice.
Beautiful flock of calipers- consoling myself with the fact I ordered the Deluxe Roubo.
Just frosting on the cake, man. We’ve already declared, no matter how busy, screw the deadlines, we’re there…
I figure within days a few of these will be on ebay selling for upwards of $500.
I meant to say within a few days of the show, not today. It is that whole slower is faster rule that I once again violated and it came back to bite me in the ass once again.
I’m taking pre-bids for the one I’m going to be selling on eBay.
Don’t forget about the Link Chris posted for the existing Japanese manufacturer of these tools. They have metric instead of imperial markings, but I have measuring tools marked in both systems in my shop and haven’t found switching between them to be a problem. In my drive to avoid arithmetic I find myself mostly just using numbers as a relative reference anyway.
